PROTEST BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE

Although fences and other stock proofing is already being installed, it is not yet a 'done deal'.

CARNYORTH MOOR, CARN GALVA and LANYON FARM

If you feel the HEATH Project proposals for these areas will be detrimental to the tourist industry and enjoyment of all those who presently use the area for recreation, or will use it in the future, then please print out the form below and send it or e-mail it (copy and paste) to SAVE PENWITH MOORS, Men-an-Tol Studio, Bosullow, Penzance, Cornwall, TR20 8NR.

 or email to: info@savepenwithmoors.com

Petitions will be forwarded to NATURAL ENGLAND (Truro, Cornwall)

PETITION

I urge Natural England to totally reject implementation of the HEATH Project for the three specific areas of Carnyorth Common, Lanyon Farm and Carn Galva, that will involve erection of fences and gates to contain a herd of cattle that will, inevitably, damage fragile prehistoric sites, and intimidate and deter walkers and horse riders in some of the few remaining unspoilt wilderness areas in the Land’s End Peninsula. Use as a public amenity far outweighs any need for this kind of 'management'.
