The Studio has been open to the public for 25 years but it is now time for it to 'retire' and will no longer be open to the public. However I still have some prints left (phone 01736 368282 for appointment) and publications will still be available by post or appointment.

I should like to thank all my customers for their support and the many who have given me good feedback on my various books.

This site has been considerably updated and now contains many new illustrations of ancient sites and crosses in the Land's End Peninsula (see under Journey to the Stones and Crosses and Churchways. There may still be some errors until finally checked - please be patient.

MEDIEVAL SEXUAL BADGES AND TOKENS

I am working on a follow-up to Saint Priapus dealing solely with these strange little lead objects depicting sexual activity, phallus or vulva that were in common use during the 14th and 15th centuries (and later). See more details.
